We use tempo ourselves, every day.
We built it because we needed it.
When you can articulate clearly and concretely, AI can execute well. But we realized most of our effort goes into articulation.
What problems are we solving? Why does this feel off? What does better actually look like?
When we can articulate the problem and solution well, we are already more than halfway in solving it. We needed something that helps us think through problems, not skip past them.
That's our advantage as a team, and why we had to build it.
Who we are
We trained LLMs at AI companies. We saw the industry building models to replace human thinking, not amplify it. So we left to build something different.
Everyone here codes and designs.
We believe the quality of what we make reflects the quality of how we think. We build interfaces that help you think, not automation that replaces thinking.
How we work
When AI can produce average easily, humans need to produce remarkable. Remarkable requires quality, focus, craft. That's why we chase quality, not speed.
Though that's how we ended up with speed anyway.
We invest in people, not just technology, because that's where remarkable comes from.
Clear thinking, good questions, knowing what matters, and not settling for slop.
Technology can amplify this, but it can't create it.
What we don't do
We don't optimize for engagement, sell your data, or build automation that makes you dependent on AI.
Your conversations stay private. We don't use them to train models or share them with anyone.
These aren't constraints. They're how we stay focused.
